The value of your Jewellery and Silver etc. can be an important part of your capital assets, yet the revaluation to provide adequate cover is quite often neglected - so often a client who has suffered a loss finds that their existing cover is insufficient.
A PERIODICAL REVIEW OF VALUES AND POLICIES IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.
Any valuation over three years old could be in need of review.
Gem and metal testing is comprehensively catered for.
If however we find a gem or pearl that needs a further opinion - as members of the National Association of Goldsmiths and users of the Gemmological Association of Great Britain we are able to seek that ultimate ruling for a modest fee.
Whilst for most jewellery a written description is adequate, some pieces of jewellery are almost indescribable and a photograph is the only means of identification, this will be undertaken where necessary or as requested.
A valuation is far more complex and thorough than merely a brief description - i.e. Ring and a value.
There are two parts to a valuation, the value and a complete description.
